Work history

Freelance Editor (2001 - 2024)

From film to documentary, and corporate to television, during the last ten years I've delivered some of the most diverse and compelling edits, got a few directors out of trouble, gave CPR to a few ailing productions and even managed to pick up a couple of awards.

Media Lecturer (2012 - 2024)

Apart from my freelance work I also lecture at the MCAST Institute of Art & Design in Malta

Editor - Scottish Documentary Institute (2007 - 2009)

It is a great honour for an editor to be asked to cut for one of the most prestigious documentary establishments in Europe, so I accepted and spent two years cutting short films about some of the most inspiring film directors in the world, enhanced SDI's online video branding and worked on ways to produce some advanced encoding and compression for the web.

Editor - Independent Filmmaker Pictures (2006 - 2009)

From short films and documentaries to a couple of telly gigs and a big fat NHS promo to round it off before graduation. Keeping busy during Uni wasn't difficult, it was only a matter of being addicted to the right stuff, which in my case was editing.

Editor (Broadcast) - MPS Picture Box (2004 - 2006)

Delivered fast fresh cuts hot from the camera straight to broadcast. Nothing beats the sweet thrills of looming deadlines, from fast paced car showcases, to daily news, a little bit of drama, and that is not counting in any of the political programs, the only thing I never got to savour was bitter taste of a missed deadline.

In-house Editor - Drunken Angel Entertainment (2000 - 2008)

Every story has a beginning, and this was mine. Started off from a junior role and fell in love with editing at first sight. Worked hard and earned my wings, cutting award winning television and the occasional film and documentary the rest is either history or written above.
